Bisekleta at Ampalaya

Tila baga, buwis buhay ang ginawa niya just to extend a special blessing to us. hahaha! But more than the kilig, I am so blessed by her generosity.

Generosity??? Haha! But seriously, I consider it generosity and here’s why:

IT’S THE HEART

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

IT’S HOW MUCH THAT’S LEFT

Most of the time, madaling magbigay kapag sobra-sobra ang resources mo.

Ep Brion,

“It’s not the “how much” you give but how much was left.”

Sino sa tingin mo ang generous? Yung taong nagbigay ng P100,000.00 pero ang tira sa kanya $100,000,000.00 o yung taong nagbigay ng P100.00 pero piso lang ang natira sa kanya?

I remember this one story from the Bible:

“Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.” “ — Matthew 12:41-44

Kilala ko si Jacq. Wala syang kakayanang magbigay ng super big time na regalo at super big time na ulam pero ang kanyang munting regalo at munting ginisang ampalaya ay nag-minister sa’kin ng super big time!

You don’t have to be rich para maging generous. Anuman ang estado mo sa buhay, mahirap, mayaman, bata, matanda, estudyante, negosyante, may trabaho o wala, you can be generous. It’s actually a choice. Generosity is not ‘pera-pera’ lang. You can be generous in any way and in every way with what you have. Be generous with your time, talent, energy, resources, service and more. And when you give, give to the LORD with a cheerful heart.

We cannot outgive GOD. The more we generously give, the more He will bless us.

Ang sarap magbigay when we give as if we are giving to the LORD!

The greatest act of generosity was demonstrated on the cross when Jesus died for our sins. He is our perfect example. He gave His all. Walang reservations; walang kyeme; walang kaabog-abog; wagas na wagas.

Let the cross be our standard concerning generosity. The Lord blessed us to be a blessing. So be a channel today.

May kariton ka at ginisang munggo, you can use that to bless someone today! May kotse ka at happy meal, you can use that to minister to someone today!

Si Jacq, may bisekleta at ginisang ampalaya. Ikaw? anong meron ka?
